Our Community

At St Ambrose’s School, what truly sets us apart is our strong sense of community. St A Web (1).jpg
We are a place where families are respected, nurtured and actively included in the life of the school. This partnership between home and school enriches the educational experience of every child and fosters a spirit of belonging that is fel the moment you step through our gates.

Our Parents Advisory Group (PAG) plays a central role in this vibrant community. Through family camps, social events and celebrations, the PAG helps create meaningful connections among families across all year levels. Their contribution extends beyond events to the day-to-day running of school life - whether through the weekly volunteer tuckshop, termly book club or countless other activities, they help ensure St Ambrose’s continues to be a welcoming and thriving environment for all.

Within the PAG, the Ambrose Angels offer a unique expression of care and compassion. This initiative ensures that families are supported during life’s more challenging times. Whether it’s experiencing hardship, coping with illness or injury, navigating bereavement or adjusting to life with a new baby, the Angels step in to provide practical and heartfelt support. This might include preparing meals, stocking lunchboxes, assisting with school drop-offs and pick-ups or delivering care packages to families in need.

Together, these efforts reflect the very heart of our school, where community is not just a word, but a lived reality.
