What a beautiful morning celebrating the special people who hold such an important place in the lives of our students.
Our Grandparents Day began with grandparents joining their grandchildren in classrooms, followed by a visit to our Book Fair and the wonderful opportunity to be part of our Book Week Dress-Up Day. It was fantastic to see every child across our school participating and bringing so much colour, creativity and joy to this special occasion!
The morning concluded with a heartfelt prayer liturgy under the theme “I See Me in You”, recognising the love, influence, wisdom and connection shared between generations.
One grandmother beautifully captured the spirit of the day, sharing:
“I had seven children of my own and have been part of many, many schools. I can say St Ambrose’s is the best of all. We are blessed to be part of this school community.”
What a wonderful compliment and reminder of the special community we are so fortunate to share. Thank you to all of our grandparents and special visitors for being part of such a memorable day. We loved having you with us!
