Student Support

Student Support at St Ambrose’s School

At St Ambrose’s, supporting students to learn, grow and achieve is at the heart of everything we do. We believe every child is a capable learner, and our role as a community is to provide the right support and opportunities so each student can reach their full potential.

Student support at St Ambrose’s takes many forms. In the classroom, teachers make adjustments to ensure that every child can access and engage with their learning. For students who need additional help, we provide tailored literacy and numeracy programs that target specific skills and build confidence.

We also work in partnership with families to develop Personalised Learning Plans where needed. These plans draw on the expertise of specialists, both within our school and from external professionals, to ensure that students receive the right combination of guidance and support.

Our approach is collaborative, inclusive, and focused on the wellbeing and growth of every child. By combining classroom strategies, targeted programs, and strong partnerships with families and specialists, we create a learning environment where all students are supported to thrive.
