Students return for Traditions Assembly

This week, we proudly celebrated the highly anticipated St Ambrose's Traditions Assembly. This special occasion honours the primary school journey of our graduating Year 6 cohort, while offering an inspiring glimpse into the future through the presence of our distinguished guests - the Year 12 graduates who once began their own journeys at St Ambrose's.

The ceremony highlights the exciting next chapter for our Year 6 students as they don the uniforms of their future secondary schools. It also pays tribute to the achievements and aspirations of our Year 12 graduates, who graciously shared words of wisdom with the departing Year 6s. The assembly fosters reconnection between the Year 6s and their Prep buddies, while also strengthening ties with students heading to the same secondary schools as some of the returning Year 12s.

This cherished tradition offers a true walk down memory lane, not only for our Year 6 students who reflect on and share special moments from their primary school journey, but also for our Year 12s. They are invited to revisit where their educational story began and reconnect with the teachers who have left a lasting impact on their growth.

As one Year 12 graduate beautifully expressed: This school wasn't just a place to learn, it felt like home. St Ambrose's helps build your character. It helps you discover the kind of person you want to be. And the friendships you make here can last a lifetime."

We were honoured to see our Year 12s proudly don their school uniforms one final time to join in this special assembly. We extend our warmest wishes to both graduating cohorts for a bright and fulfilling future and we look forward to celebrating your achievements in the years ahead.
